If you are using the “ideal build” for a exam machine, you’re fine
The ideal build is
- Windows 10 Host
- VMWare Hypervisor
- Provided Offensive Security Image (only useful for the Linux buffer overflow exercise, sample lab and exam reports)
- Java Runtime Environment
Stick with this, and you won’t have any issues.
If you are using Ubuntu as a host with , for public documentation and Linux support’s sake
You only need to know these magical words
apt-get update && apt-get install -y icedtea-plugin
Then you restart Firefox and retry the ScreenConnect link.
